1996-1997 The Guardian Newspaper: Systems Manager

The Guardian/Observer newspapers are published daily. Worked within team of six managers covering 20/7 rota:

1987-1993 The Independent Newspaper

Started working at the paper six months after launch as a systems manager. Regularly promoted throughout employment.

1992-1993 Press & Public Relations Executive

In two-man team reporting directly to the Editor/Chairman.

1990-1992 PC Development Manager within R&D Group

Worked in the financial, managerial and advertising departments of the company as well as editorial and pre-production:

1989-1990 Colour Systems Supervisor

Scitex colour system was installed in order to enable pre-production of the newspaper's Saturday colour supplement. The achieved aim was to reduce the industry's colour supplement lead-time from six weeks to three days.

1987-1989 Systems Manager

Worked within a team of six managers covering an 18/6 rota.
